Raymond D. Harari
Mr. Harari is an experienced capital markets professional and the founder of Canalis Capital, a merchant bank focused on disruptive industries. Prior to founding Canalis Capital, Mr. Harari worked at Credicorp Bank in its private wealth group in Panama and Nomura's consumer and retail investment banking group based in New York City. Mr. Harari graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship and Mathematics. Mr. Harari is an active angel investor across the technology, mining, fashion, cannabis, e-commerce, and energy sectors. Mr. Harari also served as the Deputy Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama.
Mr. Moore is a mining corporate finance professional with 14 years of industry experience spanning engineering, investment banking, and private equity. Most recently, he was a co-founder and director of Momentum Minerals, which was acquired by Westward Gold in July of 2021. Prior to that, he held positions on the investment teams of leading mining-focused private equity funds, first as a Vice President at Waterton Global Resource Management in Toronto and later at Pacific Road Capital in Vancouver. He also previously worked as an investment banker at Bank of Montreal in their metals and mining group in Toronto. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering and an MBA, both from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
Mr. Nelson is an accounting and corporate finance professional with a decade of experience in mining and natural resources. He previously worked on the investment banking team at Dundee Securities Ltd. in Vancouver, advising on merger and acquisitions for global mining companies through all phases of their development cycle, from greenfield exploration through to production. Following that, he was part of the team at Dundee Goodman Merchant Partners, a leading mining-focused merchant bank, where he was responsible for analyzing early-stage public mining ventures. He also worked as a financial auditor for Grant Thornton LLP and Davidson & Company LLP, earning his Chartered Professional Accountant designation auditing large, mid-tier, and small-cap mining companies.
Mr. Browning has over 12 years of experience designing and implementing leading-edge exploration programs for resource companies around the world, with a particular expertise in the Western United States. He began his career as a field technician for Miranda Gold, overseeing generative exploration programs across Nevada at projects along the Carlin Trend, Cortez Trend and Walker Lane. In 2014 he was hired as a Senior Geologist for TerraCore in Reno, Nevada, an industry leader in hyperspectral imaging technology. There, he managed the North and South American regional divisions and was instrumental in designing drill campaigns across several deposit types and project stages ranging from greenfield exploration through to commercial production. He holds a B.A. in Geology from Western Colorado University and an M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Idaho and is the 2012 recipient of the ASD Alexander Goetz Instrument Support Program, the first awarded for Geology.
